Behind Bastion
Hi, Iām Vladimir Kiselev, and Iām building Investment Bastion, a data-driven investment platform.
The core idea behind Bastion is scoring-based asset valuation models, helping investors identify the best opportunities based on their strategy and goals. My mission is to turn spreadsheets into strategy, and strategy into performance.
Today, Bastion includes three main components:
1. Terminal
A set of Excel-based tools and dashboards for evaluating stocks and building customized valuation screens. In the Guides section, youāll find walkthroughs on how the visualizations work, how our scoring strategies are built, and the broader investment philosophy behind Bastion.
2. Portfolios
Systematic reviews and model portfolios based on multifactor strategies like Growth + Efficiency + Reasonable Price or Dividend Growth. My algorithms identify the stocks that best match each framework, and these are the same portfolios I use in my own asset management process.
3. Market Intel
A newsletter where I use Bastion dashboards and infographics to track global market trends and evaluate analyst and investment bank ideas through the Bastion lens.
