Garmin was one of the best performers in the S&P 500 this week, up 21%. Fitness revenue jumped 42% to $547M in Q1 2026 as the marathon and Hyrox crowd keeps buying.
The FT put it well: a £115 running watch is quietly beating the Rolex as a status symbol. One six-time major marathoner said he is now embarrassed to wear his Rolex, because a Garmin signals a success that has to be earned.
