Calumet owns Montana Renewables, which converts animal fats, vegetable oils, and waste into sustainable aviation fuel.
The company plans to increase annual SAF capacity from 60 million gallons to 200 million by the end of 2028.
Strong refining margins are generating cash, while the estimated expansion cost has been cut from $1.2 billion to $137 million. This allows Calumet to fund most of the project from Montana Renewables’ own earnings without issuing new shares.

Q2 revenue increased 44%, while free cash flow grew 73%. Zeta also reported its first quarterly GAAP profit.
The company signed a seven-year partnership with Palantir. Zeta’s Data Cloud is being integrated with Palantir Foundry, allowing both companies to jointly sell their data and AI solution to large enterprise customers.
